Role Overview

The Supervisor Maintenance will oversee and coordinate the activities of maintenance workers, ensuring equipment is running efficiently to meet production goals. The role involves scheduling and directing maintenance employees, troubleshooting work problems, and developing preventative maintenance strategies. The Supervisor will work closely with production teams to ensure production goals are met and will be responsible for training and coaching employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or two-year degree with equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a front-line supervisor or five years experience in all phases of plant and equipment maintenance
  • Extremely high degree of accuracy with electrical systems, ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boilers, pneumatics, blueprints, and packaging equipment
  • Knowledge of GMPs, sanitation, and union relations is helpful
  • Ability to communicate accurately and clearly with both oral and written materials
