Role OverviewThe Department of Social Services (DSS) is comprised of the administrative units of the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA) and the Department of Homeless Services (DHS). The Supervisor of Accounting Unit will oversee annual and final closeout audits, examine financial statements, and determine unallowed costs based on Federal regulations.

The Supervisor of Accounting Unit will oversee annual and final closeout audits for CAMFR, Employment, HASA, and other DSS/HRA/DHS contracts, examine financial statements, and determine unallowed costs based on Federal regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in economics, finance, accounting, or a related field, and two years of experience in budget administration, accounting, or fiscal research, with 18 months of executive, managerial, or supervisory experience.
Requirements
