Supervisor, Production - Frames

Requirements

• Provide leadership to team leaders and front-line hourly production team members
• Ensure a safe work environment, define expectations, provide resources, coach/teach/train associates, ensure accountability, and provide feedback
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement; conduct root cause analysis and develop/implement corrective action plans
• Maintain production schedule, meeting both quality and productivity requirements
• Maintain good inventory control procedures for all raw material that may be required in assignment department(s)
• Partner with supply chain, quality, shipping, and other departments to ensure the team meets production targets safely, on time, and to established quality standards
• Ensure timely response to operational issues impacting customer expectations and project cycle time performance
• Be knowledgeable of company policies and engage appropriate resources (HR, Safety, etc.) when required to handle issues that arise
• Support, communicate, implement, sustain, and consistently enforce all company policies/procedures
• Build and sustain good morale and attitudes among all reporting associates
• Initiate requisitions for open positions. Interview and determine best candidate for position
• Document associate skills and knowledge to create a skills matrix of employee training needs and accomplishments
• Ability to capture/analyze data regarding productivity -Understand through observations the causes for high and low productivity
• Understand production requirements and direct resources appropriately to procure shipment items
• Communicate decisions with data and documentation
• Maintain accurate timekeeping in ADP for all assigned direct reports
• Enforce safety rules, practices and procedures to assure safety of associates, buildings, grounds and machinery
• Other duties as assigned
