Job Description
The Supervisor, SUD Counselor Education and Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the dedicated support program for SUD Counselors at HealthRIGHT 360. This role ensures that all registered counseling staff meet California state requirements for registration and initial certification, with a particular focus on compliance with new mandates established by Assembly Bill (AB) 2473 and DHCS BHIN 25-029.

Requirements

  • Credentialing and re-credentialing for all registered SUD Counselors
  • Tracking the registration and education status of all SUD registered personnel
  • Developing and managing a system to track milestones for SUD certification
  • Holding regular Q&A sessions and meeting individually with staff to support them through the SUD certification process
  • Researching and advocating for SUD Counselor education requirements and regulations
