Role Overview

The Supervisor, Tool Planning is a member of the Tool Team within the Integrated Operations Division. Responsible for the oversight of assigned tool rooms, improving tool availability, and serving as the operational point of contact for their assigned station.

What You Will Do

Partners with Supply leadership, coordinates with Supply leadership to maintain compliance, oversees legacy inventory systems, partners with Material Planning Tooling, and resolves tooling issues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • 2 years Supply Chain or Aircraft Maintenance operational experience
  • Knowledge of Line and Base Supply Operations
  • Strong ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects
  • Strong ability to communicate, partner and lead various work groups
  • Proactively manage priorities to meet deadlines, identify underlying issues and provide root cause analysis
  • High level of decisiveness, initiative and attention to detail
  • Self-starter who is not afraid to get out into the operation to understand issues and the ability to quickly resolve issues
  • General knowledge of American Airlines GPM, IPC and AMM
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
