Role OverviewSupplier Quality Engineer aids the Supplier Quality manager to ensure suppliers' processes align with PowerSecure's design intent and verify suppliers' systems for compliance. This includes ongoing supply chain company verification and risk analysis.

Troubleshoot issues, ensure processes and products continually improve to exceed established quality standards, and drive measurable quality improvements.

Requirements
- BS Degree in mechanical, electrical or equivalent engineering degree
- ASQ certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Practical, hands-on experience in supply chain development, qualifying, and developing suppliers
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical assembly drawings
- Experience with fabrication or electrical switchgear components preferred
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (SAP or IFS preferred)
- Experience with Advanced Quality Planning tools such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA preferred
- Experience with auditing and evaluating new suppliers preferred
- Experience with evaluating and improving measurement systems
- Expertise in in structured root cause analysis tools (8D, 5-Why, Red X, Ect)
