Job Description
Carter Machinery Company is hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer. The role involves inspecting products, analyzing nonconformances, and qualifying new products and suppliers. Seeking candidates with previous experience in quality engineering.

Requirements

  • General knowledge of mechanical and electrical product designs and concepts
  • Data analysis experience
  • Must be able to conduct root cause analysis and implement correction actions
  • Must be able to use measurement tools to verify specifications
  • Must be able to make effective risk assessments
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Must have an excellent driving record
  • Must be able to willing to travel at least 50% to various jobsites within North America as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Requires ability to move between projects as priorities change
  • Requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
