Role OverviewThe Support Engineer will provide application support, troubleshooting, and customer issue resolution for the Security Integrations Group (SIG). The role involves working with other engineers to support Amazon Operations' physical security system infrastructures, including access control, video management systems, visitor management, and incident management systems. The Security Integrations Group is a 24/7 operation, and shift work will be required, potentially including nights and weekends.
What You Will Do
The day-to-day responsibilities of the Support Engineer include day-to-day support operations of a fast-paced complex distributed physical security infrastructures, responding to telephone, ticket and e-mail requests in a professional, efficient manner, performing various programming and technical project / administrative related activities on the security systems, and following standard procedures for proper escalation of issues to the appropriate teams.

Requirements
- 2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience
