Works under general supervision to provide scheduling of patients for department or clinic.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 2 years of experience working in a medical office environment
  • Exposure and working knowledge of physician billing, medical collections, coding and surgery scheduling and/or patient access
  • Preferred: 2 years of college
  • Preferred: 1 year of healthcare scheduling and/or surgery scheduling
