Job Description

Assists with total care for patient supplies, O.R. process, and implements systems that support clerical operations.

Requirements

Professional knowledge of surgical procedures, terminology, O.R. Array System, Meditech, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
Previous experience preferred.
Communication skills necessary to effectively provide instruction, explanation, and communication with other members of the health team, outside vendors, sale reps, and companies.
Analytical skills necessary to develop and implement a plan for materials management of supplies, product, and instrumentation required for surgery.
Ability to concentrate, prioritize, plan, and perform professional judgment in materials management for the O.R.
Ability to perform the duties of determining proper equipment and instrumentation needed for surgical cases.
Ability to manage the Charge Master and Array OR Plus computer system.
Ability to cover departmental positions such as scheduling and secretarial positions.
