Role OverviewSchedules patients for surgery, completes facility paperwork, and obtains necessary information to schedule or reschedule events. Responds to inquiries and maintains hospital schedules through various methods.
What You Will Do
Schedule surgeries with physicians, prepare reservations, and maintain hospital schedules. Assist with orientation of staff members and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionals
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industry
- Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to document accurately and concisely
- High School Grad or Equiv
- 3+ years in a healthcare setting
- 1+ year of technical experience
- 1+ Electronic Health Record (EHR) scheduling experience
