Job Description
Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Tech I to assist physicians and nursing staff in creating and maintaining a sterile field during surgical procedures. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of asepsis and be able to apply the principles of asepsis in creating and maintaining the sterile field. This is a full-time position with a sign-on bonus and relocation bonus available.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved specific discipline OR successful completion of a surgical technologist training program during the applicant's service as a member of any branch of the armed forces of the United States
  • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Certification from one of the listed issuers below: NBSTSA CST – National Board of Surgical Technologist and Surgical Assistants, Certified Surgical Technologist.
