Role OverviewAs a Surgical Tech Labor & Delivery, you will perform surgical scrub duties in all specialties, maintain sterile fields, and provide a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families. You will work efficiently with physicians and RNs in various surgical procedures, utilizing specialized equipment, trays, and instruments.

Your main responsibilities will include performing surgical scrub duties, maintaining sterile fields, preparing operating areas, and caring for equipment. You will also prioritize tasks, delegate effectively, and use time efficiently.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) candidate with one year of clinical experience. You will work 24 hours per week, 12 hours per shift, from 6:45pm to 7:15am, with a 0.6 FTE.
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program
- One year of clinical experience as a Surgical Technologist
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or CST candidate
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Los Angeles County Fire Card
- Assault Response Competency (ARC)
