Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a Surgical Tech Ortho Urology to join their team. The role involves assisting Registered Nurse Circulators, providing perioperative patient care, and leading perioperative patient care assignments. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in surgical specialties and knowledge of operating room equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years' experience with knowledge of eight (8) to ten (10) surgical specialties and able to operate basic/standard operating room equipment
  • Completion of an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the US military or US public health services or was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT course approved by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
