Role OverviewA surgical technologist student employed by Erlanger Medical Center responsible for direct and/or indirect care of the patient under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
What You Will Do
The surgical technologist student functions as a member of the surgical team responsible for the obtaining of surgical supplies, preparation of the surgical field and maintenance of procedure sterility.

The employee must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in BEH Surgery.
Requirements
- High School education or equivalent
- Training in surgical aseptic technique and OR practices essential
- Must maintain certification as a surgical technologist from a national certifying body recognized by the health facilities commission
