Role OverviewA surgical technologist student employed by Erlanger Medical Center responsible for direct and/or indirect care of the patient under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
What You Will Do
Assumes on-call and late duty as assigned, OR case preparation, instrument processing, surgical scrub, and specimens.

Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a Surgical Tech Program
- Training in surgical aseptic technique and OR practices essential
- Must maintain certification as a surgical technologist from a national certifying body recognized by the health facilities commission
- BLS completed prior to going to unit/department and to be maintained going forward
