Job Description
A Surgical Technician is needed to select and place surgical instruments, supplies and equipment during surgery at the ChristianaCare Surgery Center in Havertown, PA. The technician will assist with surgical procedures, maintain aseptic technique and universal precautions, and participate in OR turnover between cases.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • BLS required
  • Manual dexterity and ability to maintain professional decorum in highly stressful emergent situations
  • Conscientious, organized, and orderly
  • Ability to respond quickly to the needs of the surgeon and patient
