Job Description
Assist with operative policies and procedures, provide patient care and safety, assist with procedures, chart in EMR, and assist with scheduling and patient education. May assist other providers with patients and perform patient wound care.

Requirements

  • Ability to assist with operative policies and procedures following AORN and Meadville Medical Center guidelines.
  • Provide treatment and maintain patient comfort and safety.
  • Assist provider with procedures
  • Charting in EMR of procedures
  • Assist with procedure scheduling and patient education
  • Patient wound care which includes wound dressing/wrapping, education, suture removal, assisting with wound checks
  • Preclean of surgical instruments
