Role OverviewWe're searching for a Surgical Technologist II to assist the physician during surgical procedures, handling instruments, supplies, and equipment, and performing patient care duties in an age-appropriate manner.
What You Will Do
Performs patient care related duties, prepares and assists with the preparation of the operating room, and maintains correct count of sponges, needles, and instruments.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 2 years' experience as a surgical technologist, experience in two or more surgical specialties, and a strong understanding of surgical pathology and patient safety.
Requirements
- Required Educational program completion for surgical technologists
- Required CST-SUR - Cert-Cert Surgical TECH by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
- Required TSC-NCCT - Cert-TECH Surgery - Certified NCCT by the National Center for Competency Testing
- Required 2 years' experience as a surgical technologist and experience in two or more surgical specialties
