The Patient Care Clerk supports perioperative services by assisting with patient transport, safe patient handling, operating room preparation, equipment movement, and environmental cleanliness.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 60 days of employment
  • Previous healthcare, patient transport, surgical services, or hospital support experience preferred
  • Ability to safely operate patient transport and lifting equipment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow instructions, adhere to established procedures, and maintain attention to detail
