Surveillance Technician

As a Surveillance Technician, you will play an important role in supporting the technology and systems that help keep our property safe, secure, and running smoothly. This hands-on technical position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing surveillance systems and related electronic equipment throughout the property.

What You Will Do

Perform routine preventative maintenance to keep surveillance equipment and systems operating efficiently. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair surveillance cameras, digital systems, and other related electronic equipment. Install new surveillance equipment throughout the property to support operational needs.

Requirements

• Knowledge of audio and video equipment, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Understanding of digital surveillance systems and their operation.
• Knowledge of basic electronics, electronic troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
• Familiarity with computer networks, surveillance equipment, and basic CCTV cabling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Ability to operate surveillance equipment and use related tools and testing instruments.
• Ability to remain organized, focused, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to understand and follow written instructions, verbal directions, diagrams, and schedules.
• Ability to communicate clearly and read and write in basic English.
• Commitment to providing excellent service and maintaining positive working relationships.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Windows and applications such as Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
