Job Description
The Survey Technician II position assists supervisory staff in performing field surveys and learning the fundamentals of the land surveying profession.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6) months of surveying experience
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Knowledge of mathematical principles
  • Ability to learn advanced mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry, etc.)
  • Ability to learn to keep survey notes
  • Ability to learn to operate the instruments and equipment used in land surveying
  • Ability to learn the proper application of the principles and practices of land surveying
  • Physical strength and agility to perform various labor tasks in all weather conditions and environments
