Role OverviewThe Surveyor 3 independently oversees and manages complex survey projects, prepares legal descriptions, and acts as a lead worker over survey field crews. They coordinate project activities with other offices, communicate with consultants and the public, and provide advice to higher-level administrators.
What You Will Do
The Surveyor 3 will operate survey instruments, maintain and calibrate them, and perform field calculations. They will also upload, download, and organize digital survey data, perform office calculations, and analyze survey data via statistical and geometrical methods.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 12 months of experience as a Surveyor 2 or in responsible charge of survey projects, and be a current registered professional surveyor. They will be able to work independently, communicate effectively, and provide advice to higher-level administrators.
