Job Description
The Surveyor 4, PN 20050930 position at the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is responsible for directing overall survey operations in assigned District, supervising lower-level surveyors, and managing consultant projects. The role involves utilizing quality principles, researching records, preparing survey plats drawings, and serving as an expert witness in court. The ideal candidate will have 12 mos. exp. as Surveyor 3 or 24 mos. exp. in responsible charge of survey projects.

Requirements

  • Current registration as professional surveyor pursuant to section 4733.02 of Ohio Revised Code
  • Valid driver's license
  • 12 mos. exp. as Surveyor 3, 85563 or 24 mos. exp. in responsible charge of survey projects
  • Ability to utilize quality principles & initiatives
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
