Job Description
The NYC Department of Design and Construction, Safety & Site Support Division seeks a Surveyor to assist in field data collection and act as Party Chief, as needed. The Surveyor will assist with the drafting of field sketches, level notes, and various documents pertaining to the maintenance of the survey equipment within an assigned vehicle.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in surveying, surveying engineering, surveying engineering technology, or similar surveying-related majors
  • Two years of full-time satisfactory land surveying experience
  • Motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York
  • Registration as a New York State Land Surveyor for Assignment Level III
