What You Will Do
Instructs swimming lessons and prepares lesson plans according to the YMCA. Builds effective, authentic relationships with parents and students to connect and inform parents of each other and students’ accomplishments.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ability to instruct and observe participants in proper stroke techniques. Ability to lift equipment and to lift a small to average-sized child.
Requirements
- At least some high school level education (over 16+ years of age)
- CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid certification, and Emergency Oxygen
- Current YMCA Swim Instructor certification OR training provided
