Role OverviewThe candidate must be at least 16 years of age and possess a current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification. The role involves creating and maintaining a safe environment for all participants, understanding all four competitive strokes with turns, and being an enthusiastic ambassador of the JCC.
What You Will Do
The candidate will be responsible for greeting students by name, beginning and ending class on time, being prepared, attending member service trainings, and suggesting other programming offered at the JCC.

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Hold a current Water Safety Instructor certification through the American Red Cross
- Must understand all four competitive strokes with turns
- Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds
- Must be able to assist participants in and out of the pool
- Must be able to swim a minimum of 300 yards continuously
- Must be able to demonstrate swimming skills
