Role OverviewThe Swing driver is responsible for servicing customer accounts dispatched to him/her throughout the day. This position may perform as Container, Commercial, Roll Off or Residential Driver as needed. Reports to Operations Supervisor.
What You Will Do
Collects and hauls waste, recycling materials or containers to a disposal site or recycling plant as directed by dispatch. Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report).

Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training. Must have a valid Class B CDL and a valid DOT medical card or obtain prior to hire.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have at least a valid Class B CDL.
- Ability to drive manual transmission or willing to learn.
- Must have a valid DOT medical card or obtain prior to hire.
- Must not have any DUI’s or OVI’s within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
- Must not have any license suspensions within the last 2 years.
- No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
- Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.
