Job Description
We are looking for a Swing Shift Plant Operator to join our team at VSS International inc. facility in West Sacramento, California. The ideal candidate will be able to work a 2pm - 10 pm shift and assist with the manufacturing, loading, or unloading of chemicals, emulsified asphalt, and binder products.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English
  • Ability to utilize a calculator for basic math
  • Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
  • Ability to learn and put in action 5S principals
  • Ability to self-start, motivate others, work with little direction
  • Ability to work in a dirty and adverse work conditions
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to acquire a license for Forklift Operation (OSHA)
  • Current state automobile driver’s license and a reliable vehicle, potentially for work-related travel
