Role OverviewThis role focuses on field-based work: performing environmental inspections, Stormwater Pollution Prevention (SWPPP) inspections, observing construction progress, and ensuring compliance. The position would be attached to our Environmental Division in our Rochester, NY office.
What You Will Do
Perform SWPPP inspections on active construction sites, documenting compliance with erosion and sediment control measures, preparing detailed technical SWPPP reports, and maintaining related on-site documents.

Requirements
- BA or BS in Environmental, Ecology, or Biology
- 2 to 5 years of experience in delineation, permitting, monitoring, construction oversight
- Familiarity with NYSDEC stormwater regulations
- Familiarity with New York Department of agriculture and markets guidelines for energy projects
- Comfort working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions on uneven terrain
- Ability to complete high quality technical reports
