Role OverviewThis role focuses on field-based work: performing environmental inspections, Stormwater Pollution Prevention (SWPPP) inspections, observing construction progress, and ensuring compliance. The position is attached to our Environmental Division in our Rochester, NY office. Hybrid (home/office/job site) work schedules are available for this position.
What You Will Do
Perform SWPPP inspections on active construction sites, documenting compliance with erosion and sediment control measures. Prepare detailed technical SWPPP reports and maintain related on-site documents. Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to ensure Stormwater and Erosion Control compliance with provided Engineering construction documents.

Requirements
- Minimum BA or BS in Environmental, Ecology, or Biology.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in delineation, permitting, monitoring, construction oversight
- Familiarity with NYSDEC stormwater regulations
- Familiarity with New York Department of agriculture and markets guidelines for energy projects.
- Comfort working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions on uneven terrain.
- Ability to complete high quality technical reports
