Job Description
The Chicago Public Schools is seeking an Anticipated SPED Teacher to work in the PreK-3, 4-5, and 6-8 grade levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, progress tracking, and discipline of all students in assigned classes. A valid teaching license and endorsement in LBS1 are required.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education
  • Completion of the CPS online application and teaching profile
  • A valid teaching license issued by the Illinois State Board of Education, with the appropriate endorsement(s) for the role
  • Physical ability to exert up to twenty (20) pounds of force occasionally
