Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Software Developer for a full-time, remote position within Veterans Affairs. The role involves collaborating with project teams, users, and IT management to design, develop, and support computer systems and programs, while providing expert advice on IT issues. Prior experience with AWS is highly preferred.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with Python
  • 8+ years of experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • 8+ years of experience with GIT
  • 8+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services Relational Databases (AWS RDS)
  • 8+ years of experience with Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3)
  • 8+ years of experience with Amazon Lambda(s)
  • Exceptional communication and organization skills
  • Professional Certifications (AWS Certifications are a plus)
