Job Description
Albers Aerospace is seeking an IT Systems Administrator II to support the design, administration, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience supporting diverse environments, enterprise systems administration, endpoint management, and network infrastructure within a secure and regulated environment.

Requirements

  • Install, configure, and maintain enterprise systems including servers, network infrastructure, and cloud platforms.
  • Administer Linux based servers.
  • Support enterprise applications used by engineering and development teams.
  • Administer and support Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Maintain system performance, reliability, and availability through monitoring and proactive maintenance.
  • Manage endpoint configurations, security baselines, and remediation activities
  • Maintain network infrastructure according to established architecture and security standards.
  • Provide after-hours support for system maintenance, upgrades, and incident response when necessary.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Support escalated Help Desk tickets requiring advanced technical resolution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues to maintain operational continuity.
  • Serve as Site Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for baseline security audits of classified machines.
  • Assist maintaining and updating system configuration management documentation.
  • Assist investigating and resolving security incidents or anomalies identified by cybersecurity teams.
  • Assist with vulnerability management programs and system hardening initiatives.
  • Support security audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory assessments.
  • Assist with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) technology integration projects as required.
  • Participate in change management and incident response processes.
