Job Description
As a Level 2 System Administrator, you will work hands-on with Linux-based environments across cloud, containerized, virtualized, and enterprise infrastructure platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern DevOps and infrastructure technologies while strengthening your expertise in Linux administration, networking, security compliance, and infrastructure automation.

Requirements

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers across containerized, cloud, and virtualized environments
  • Provide day-to-day system administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
  • Support storage management, virtualization infrastructure, and network/firewall configurations
  • Apply SSP compliance requirements and STE/STN security standards to Linux systems and network devices
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues
  • Support system lifecycle management including patching, upgrades, and automation initiatives
  • Implement automation solutions using tools such as Ansible or similar platforms when applicable
  • Analyze recurring system issues and implement preventative solutions
  • Maintain system documentation and operational standards
  • Support application deployments and general infrastructure troubleshooting
