Role OverviewThis role involves maintaining and optimizing the virtual infrastructure that supports the mission-critical operations of the GCC. The Systems Administrator will administer, develop, test, implement, and maintain the virtual operating environment and its related software. This position requires establishing standards for between hardware and software, troubleshooting complex system and networking problems, and recommending upgrades based on performance data.
What You Will Do
Design and implement VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines across multiple sites. Monitor and optimize virtual infrastructure performance, resource utilization, and system availability. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to VMware technologies. Provide technical support for system users.

- Proven experience as a Virtualization Administrator
- In-depth knowledge of VMware ESXi, vCenter Server, distributed switches, and related components
- Demonstrated ability in performance monitoring, resource optimization, and troubleshooting within a virtual environment
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions for virtualized systems
- Familiarity with DoD security requirements, including the implementation of STIGs
