Role Overview

Momentum Engineering, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator to support the implementation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of enterprise IT systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day administration, monitoring, problem resolution, and escalation support across client/server, storage, network, and operating system environments. This role requires experience with DevOps and cloud infrastructure automation using Ansible, AWS, and Terraform.

What You Will Do

Implement, administer, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems and supporting infrastructure. Provide Tier 1 Help Desk and Tier 2 escalation support, including problem identification, diagnosis, resolution, and documentation.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The successful candidate will have experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems, troubleshooting client/server, storage, network, and hardware environments, and providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-support skills are required.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
  • Demonstrated experience administering and supporting enterprise IT systems
  • Experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems
  • Experience troubleshooting client/server, storage, network, and hardware environments
  • Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support
  • Experience with system monitoring, problem diagnosis, escalation, and resolution
  • Experience with Ansible for configuration management and DevOps automation
  • Experience supporting AWS environments
  • Experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and configuration
  • DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I or higher compliance
