Job Description
Role Overview

The Systems Administrator 4 will lead day-to-day Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities, including patching and vulnerability remediation support, backups and recovery, account monitoring and access administration, and customer status communication. Experience in a DevOps environment leveraging CI/CD practices is preferred. The role requires expert working knowledge of system administration interdependencies as part of a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

What You Will Do

Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems, provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, and lead day-to-day O&M activities. The role also involves supporting RMF and SSP activities, including STIG implementation, POA&M management, ATO support, security control implementation, and policy/guidelines/SOP documentation.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
  • DoD 8570 compliant with at least one qualifying certification meeting IAT Level II or IAM Level II requirements (IAT Level II preferred; IAM Level II acceptable)
  • Experience supporting systems under DoD/DIA Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Expert working knowledge of system administration interdependencies within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Understanding of Linux (CentOS) environments
  • Understanding of Oracle environments
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration
