Role OverviewThe Systems Administrator is part of the local operations team based in Atlanta, GA, responsible for infrastructure, network, data center, facilities, remote-site technology, and end-user support across Georgia operations. This role combines 24x7 operational support for lottery and iLottery environments with responsibility for infrastructure, network, data center, facilities, remote-site technology, and end-user support.
What You Will Do
Administer and maintain servers, virtualization platforms (VMware), storage systems, telecommunications, and network infrastructure. Monitor and support WAN, LAN, wireless, internet connectivity, firewalls, and enterprise systems. Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, escalation, patch management, backups, disaster recovery, and failover support.

Requirements
- Associate's degree, or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years experience in systems administration, infrastructure operations, or enterprise IT support
- Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with VMware and virtualized environments
- Strong understanding of networking, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, wireless, and telecommunications
- Experience supporting enterprise storage, backup, security, and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
- Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and documentation skills
