Job Description
The City of Independence Technology Services Department is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Systems Administrator to support the City’s enterprise applications and database systems. The successful candidate will manage enterprise software environments, oversee integrations, and ensure the smooth functioning of platforms such as Tyler Technologies’ MUNIS ERP, Cityworks, and other enterprise systems used by multiple City departments.
Requirements
Administer and optimize SQL Server databases
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity
Install, configure, and update enterprise software and associated modules
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
Conduct technical and process analysis to identify opportunities for workflow improvement
Maintain compliance with data security and user access controls
Track and report performance metrics, system uptime, and administrative activities
