Role OverviewThe Systems Administrator II will work as a member of an enterprise support team, providing local site support for Red Hat Linux servers and workstations. The candidate will install new/rebuild existing Red Hat servers and workstations, configure server and workstation hardware, peripherals, services, SAN storage, and local storage. They will also perform backups and restoration in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Systems Administrator II include installing and configuring Red Hat Linux servers and workstations, developing and maintaining installation and configuration procedures, writing bash and Ansible scripts to automate system administration and maintenance tasks, and applying Red Hat and other software patches/updates.

- 5 years of experience as a system administrator of UNIX / Red Hat Linux operating systems Release 8/9
- SAN storage configuration experience with LVM on the Linux servers
- Excellent computer and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Must be a self-starter, able to work and learn independently
