Job Description
A Systems Administrator role focused on maintaining and supporting IT systems within a government agency environment, ensuring system security and providing user support.
Requirements
Troubleshoot daily system problems by working directly with users to resolve hardware, software, and application issues.
Manage network, servers, and attached peripherals, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Administer user access and roles within systems such as Systems Access Management (SAMs) and Disability Case Processing System (DCPS).
Support and monitor network security through intrusion detection and monitoring tools like Splunk.
Provide ongoing user education on security standards and best practices.
Install, configure, and support peripherals and network devices, including printers and building control systems.
