Job Description
The City of Virginia Beach is seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst to support the planning, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise systems that enable efficient municipal operations and high-quality public services.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field OR 6 or more years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in systems analysis, application support, or enterprise system administration.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, system configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of system integration, data flows, and application lifecycle management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with enterprise systems, databases, and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with public‐sector or municipal environments.
  • Successful background and drug screening check.
