Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Systems and Safety Engineer (SE) to join our team in San Diego, CA. The SE will provide Systems Engineering support across various programs, including laser systems, space and airborne payloads, and tactical missiles. The role involves conducting safety analyses, developing safety program plans, and supporting design solutions to satisfy safety requirements.

What You Will Do

The SE will perform safety tasking, develop safety program plans, conduct hazard analyses, and develop safety assessment reports. They will also provide flexible support to the Systems Engineering organization, including direct systems engineering and safety engineering support to active programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering and Safety Analysis

  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
