Role Overview

As a Systems Engineer on this team, you will contribute to the development, integration, and verification of RF-based ground systems supporting a variety of space missions. You will participate in system definition, requirements development, architecture decomposition, and verification activities throughout the system lifecycle, from early concept development through integration and test.

What You Will Do

You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to translate mission and customer needs into system requirements and technical solutions. You will help define system architecture and interfaces across hardware, software, and infrastructure components, with particular focus on RF systems including antennas, RF front-end equipment, and ground communications infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
  • 2 years of related experience (Level 2) or 5 years of related experience (Level 3)
  • Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes
  • Demonstrated experience quickly learning new concepts and approaches
  • Experience in the design, development, and integration of ground system software, networking, and/or RF antenna programs
  • Familiarity with RF communications systems, ground systems, or antenna-based architectures
  • Active Secret clearance required at time of application
