Job Description
Williams International is a privately-owned company that develops and manufactures jet engines for both military and commercial aircraft applications. We are seeking a Systems Engineer - MBSE to design, develop, and implement a comprehensive digital model of the propulsion system using Model-Based System Engineering techniques.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • 5+ years of technical experience within Systems Engineering
  • Broad technical knowledge base of turbine engines or airframe technology
  • Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle, roles and functions, including deriving requirements into actionable steps
  • Experience with FMEA, FMECA or Fault Tree Analysis
  • Familiarity with Electronics or Software systems
  • Demonstrates ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships across the organization.
  • Demonstrates interpersonal skills with effective negotiation and conflict-resolution experience
  • Demonstrates organizational skills and ability to produce a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Possesses written communication skills and proficiency in document preparation
  • Familiarity with commercial standards (SAE ARP 4754, SAE ARP 4761, DO-160, DO-178 and DO-254 certification) and the equivalent military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-882, etc.)
  • U. S. citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain a U. S. Government Security Clearance, if needed
