Systems Engineer Level 3

The Systems Engineer will be part of a team that designs, implements, and maintains DevOps resources for multiple product teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has a deep understanding of the needed technologies and the initiative to learn new skills. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing Infrastructure As Code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools.

What You Will Do

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing Infrastructure As Code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools. They will also install, configure, and provide performance tuning utilizing Kubernetes and cloud native logging and metrics collection tools. Additionally, they will manage Gitlab CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI W/ Full Scope Polygraph Security Clearance
• 20 years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Kubernetes experience with a focus on EKS
• Familiarity with FOSS tools such as Elasticsearch, Prometheus/Grafana, PGAdmin, etc.
• Familiarity with various Kubernetes storage class types such as GP3. Longhorn, EBS, etc.
