Role OverviewThe Systems Engineer will work as a team member in coordination with Quintron and SAS Company personnel to provide support for site operations, installation, and maintenance of communication systems. The role involves engineering and implementing specific customer requested installation or update jobs, coordinating daily site work activities, and performing preventive maintenance and repair of communication equipment.
What You Will Do
The Systems Engineer will perform various tasks such as inspecting and testing operability of communications equipment, configuring communication systems, installing and troubleshooting fiber and copper cabling, and operating electronic testing equipment. The role also involves working with other agencies to troubleshoot and isolate problems.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of space launch related technical support experience, advanced electronics and system integration knowledge, and the ability to work well with others as well as alone to accomplish assigned work. Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of space launch related technical support experience
- Customer required level of security clearance
- Advanced electronics and system integration knowledge
- Complete understanding of use of communications industry and electronics test equipment
- Ability to work extended hours (overtime/weekends) as required
- Clean driving record and Clean DOJ/FBI record
- OSHA 10 safety training certification minimum, OSHA 30 preferable
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio
