Job Description
We're looking for experienced Systems Engineers to join our team at Firestorm, a defense technology company. As a Systems Engineer, you'll work on building new variants of our fielded platform, own hard problems from first principles through production, and collaborate with experienced systems and mechanical engineers. You'll also have the opportunity to shape how we approach engineering challenges and make a near-term impact.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR regulations, with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • 7+ years of hands-on hardware development experience — concept through production, not just analysis
  • Systems engineering mindset — you can hold requirements, trade-offs, and interfaces in your head simultaneously
  • Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and PLM tools
