Job Description
The Texas Animal Health Commission is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide external customer service support, respond to inquiries, and issue permits related to livestock and poultry shipments. The position involves data entry, research, and communication with the public. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, data entry, or administrative support and a strong knowledge of office practices and animal agriculture.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent
  • One (1) year of experience in customer service, data entry, clerical or administrative support
  • A valid Texas driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with members of the public
  • Ability to understand and interpret agency and state regulations
